About Me
Over 20 years PR, comummunications and marketing experience in strategic communications and marketing planning, issues analysis, brand and reputation management, brand storytelling, narrative analysis, writing, social media content strategy, SEO research and strategy, community investment, member relations as well as mentorship program development in the not-for-profit, insurance, financial services, legal and tech sectors.
Served as the Director of Communications for various civic, provincial and federal political campaigns focusing on strategic communications planning, brand strategy, brand storytelling, social media content strategy, policy analysis and management of campaign communications activities.
In 2008, I developed the concept for a new type of women's mentorship and coined the phrase "feminist mentorship gap". As a result of my theory and work, I founded and created the Women's Legal Mentorship Program. The Women's Legal Mentorship Program (WLMP) is a program focused on working with Canadian law schools to deliver women's legal mentorship programming and professional development.
In addition to providing communications and marketing consulting services, I regularly consult on mentorship program development. Currently, I am completing a book entitled: The Feminist Mentorship Gap for forthcoming publication.
